This is why Coke is Coke and Pepsi wishes it could touch the hem of Coke’s garment.
I like to think that if this was presented to me I would have totally done it and made it in 60 seconds to the allowed 70. Because I’m just that smooth.
I feel like Pepsi commercial ideas come from elementary school creative writing classes.
“There should be a baby… playing electric guitar!”
“Very GOOD Brittany! Now, should he be a talking baby?”
Hey! I bet their actual focus groups are like the AT&T commercials with the storytelling kids!
(“Tape a cheetah to her back?”)
Small, quick and smart idea.
Dove: Thought Before Action (by Ogilvy Toronto)
If possible, even more clever than Evolution AND Onslaught.
Pantene - Stop Split Ends.
Makes me reach for the conditioner. Clearly Pantene’s gotten more creative since that copywriting disaster with Eva Mendez that I critiqued a while back…
Science World Campaign by Rethink Communications
What an amazing outdoor campaign for Vancouver’s science museum. Strong headlines, strong visuals, the perfect ad. AND SCIENCE! As Jesse Pinkman would say, “YEAH SCIENCE!” probably add “bitch!” in there for safe measure.
A really out there execution that forces people to stop and read and walk away with a little something that they learned. What a great tagline too, “We can explain.” Damn good. File this under inspiration.

Pepsi’s behind the scenes of the Coke Chase advert.
Behold: the dumbest thunder-stealing attempt ever. And Pepsi tries a lot of them, bless their hearts. (Do not watch if you have anything important to do in the next three minutes.)
The ‘Wankiest’ Slogans of Ad Agency websites by agencywank.
Agency Wank is a Tumblr blog that collects some of the “wankiest” slogans and text from the ad/marketing agency websites.
From unicorns to cheesy lines, these absurd, self-promotional, sanctimonious copies come from real agency websites

still, you noticed them!
This is a great campaign by TD Ameritrade. This is my favorite of the few, strictly because of the sheer brilliance contained in the flour move at the end.
Here’s two more:

Also, a quick poster from spring 2012 I did for “any event.” Naturally I chose something going down on my favorite beach in the world. Photo and all manipulations/editing/copy by me!
Here’s an old ad I did in my design & graphics course (at UF) for an original “jeans brand.” Mine is of course an ad for a denim company.
